The Comparison of Straight Lines Determined Using the Least Squares Method

Two statistical methods of comparing several (k > 2) straight lines
(after Sebera or Hald) were described. Based on simulated data the usefulness
of these methods for testing the equality of regression equations were
compared. The method describes by Hald easier detects the line significantly
different for the others. Two examples of calculations for different cases
are given.
