The architecture of computer memory, data structure. The Windows computer environment. Text editor - Microsoft Word: its function, text editing, creation of tables, editing of mathematical equations. Practical training in professional text editing. Preparation of plots from experimental data - the statistical analysis of date, creation of regression equations for data smoothing and analysis. Microsoft PowerPoint - preparation of the presentations. LINUX - basic commands and the presentation of file manipulation. Basic network services: e-mail, ftp, www. Skills in surfing the Internet.
