professional goals:

Knowledge of the chosen problems from the history of philosophy and the philosophy of nature.

Course description:

Philosophy 2 is foreseen as continuation of Philosophy 1 course. Subject matters of the discussions would concentrate on the modern philosophical theories of: Descartes, G. W. Leibniz, British Empirism (J. Locke, G. Berkeley, D. Hume) I. Kant, W. G. Hegel, Vienna Circle (Wiener Kreis), K. R. Popper, L. Wittgenstein, E. Husserl.

Discussions will be taken up.

Required background:


Attendance at course Philosophy 1 is recommended, but not necessary

Form of assessment:


Attendance at lectures is obligatory.
