professional goals:

At the end of the course student should know how to work with radionuclides, and should know the most important isotope techniques and its applications.

Course description:

The list of exercises includes: half-live determination, investigation of chemical effects of radioactive decay, application of radioisotope 35S in tiosulphate structure determination, investigation of radiation absorption processes, investigation of iodine isotope exchange kinetics, natural elements and radioactivity, influence of H/D isotope substitution on water properties, miscibility isotope effects, application of gamma spectrometry in activation analysis.
