Educational and
professional goals:

Students will get one specific sample which will be subjected to analysis with the use of different analytical techniques. The main goal is to collect manifold analytical information about the same sample.

Course description:

Laboratory experiments illustrate application of modern analytical techniques for chemical analysis. Students will analyze the same sample in solid state and after digestion. Various techniques will be used for surface analysis (IR and Raman spectroscopy, LA ICP MS, XRF), elemental analysis (potentiometry, atomic spectroscopy, ICP MS) and speciation analysis (HPLC MS).
