The student should obtain a basic knowledge of chemistry of ionic liquids.

Course description:

Structure, methods of synthesis and properties of ionic liquids. Studies of physicochemical properties of ionic liquid solutions (miscibility with water and organic solvents, viscosity, excess molar volume and others). Examples of current practical application of ionic liquids in chemistry (organic synthesis), biotechnology, chemical engineering, electrochemistry.

Basic course of physical and organic chemistry.
