The purpose of the lecture is to introduce the enzymatic methods in synthesis of biologically active organic compounds.

Course description:

The lecture covers the following topics: organic synthesis catalysed by oxyreductases, lyases, isomerases, hydrolases and lipases.

Required background:


Organic Chemistry I and II, Biochemistry.
