Educational and
professional goals:

Broadening of knowledge acquired in General Chemistry course in the area of fundamental chemical concepts, trends of the processes in Nature, electronic structure of atoms and molecules and properties of selected elements and their compounds.

Course description:

The subject of this tutorial is strictly related to the program of the lecture in General Chemistry given by Prof. Marek Orlik. The broadening of knowledge is realized through more detailed presentation of selected problems, discussions and solving computational problems.

Required background:

Elementary chemistry course on the secondary school level. Elementary knowledge of physics and mathematics. Material from the actual General Chemistry lecture.

Form of assessment:


Tests.

Remarks:

Passing the tests is a prerequisite for the General Chemistry exam.
