After finishing the study of the topic, student should get a skill in application of the organic reactions, their mechanisms, regiochemistry and stereochemistry at an advanced level.

Course description:

Basic concepts and phenomena describing the course of organic reactions. The molecular structure versus reactivity. Discussion of the modern methods of organic synthesis. Application of the stereochemistry in the synthesis and investigation of the reaction mechanisms. New view on reaction mechanisms of selected organic reactions, important from the practical point of view.
