professional goals:

Introduction to the ways and procedures of extracting maximum information from experimental data.

Course description:

What is chemometrics? Simple statistical tests and evaluations. Estimation of uncertainty. Removing various types of noise from the data and smoothing the curves. Normal and weighted regressions. Optimization in measurements. Dealing with large data sets. Similarity, pattern recognition and principal component analysis. New possibilities in analytical process connected with application of chemometrics.
