Educational and
professional goals:

Introduction to various methods for identification and structure elucidation of organic compounds as well as the assessment of their purity.

Course description:

Identification of compounds with chemical methods. Spectroscopic methods: infared and UV-VIS spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, NMR (i.e 1H, 13C,). Chromatographic methods: gas chromatography, liquid chromatography (column, HPLC), TLC. Identification of compounds with enzymatic methods.

Organic Chemistry I.
