Acquiring the understanding the very basic computational techniques of theoretical chemistry.

Course description:

Students learn some basic theoretical material and solve problems in the following areas

    - linear algebraic tools of computational chemistry
    - conformational analysis of molecules
    - molecular dynamic simulations
    - Monte Carlo simulations

Required background:


Physical Chemistry I, Quantum Chemistry A.

Form of assessment:

Student gets a credit for the course according to the grades received after solving the assignment problems and after passing a final test.
