Main subjects: electrochemistry; electroanalytical methods; kinetics and mechanisms of electrode reactions; conducting polymers; electrochemical sensors.
Current research interest:

  • studies on optimization of analytical parameters and new constructions of potentiometric ion-selective sensors, particularly electrodes with a conducting polymer solid contact;
  • application of electrochemical and spectroscopic methods to study charge transfer kinetics and transport processes in ion-selective sensors;
  • development of conducting polymer based biosensors and amperometric ion sensors;
  • development of all-solid-state reference electrodes.
