Welcome to the ‘Novel Organic Nanomaterials’ Group. We harness the power of organic chemistry and self-assembly processes for the synthesis, functionalization and organization of novel organic and hybrid (organic-inorganic) materials. The website is oriented to give you a glimpse of our current research activities as well as ourselves. We would like to take you for a short journey towards prospective undergraduate and graduate projects.

We are located in the Faculty of Chemistry at University of Wasaw, Ochota Campus. Our scientific interests encompass different branches of synthesis of novel organic compounds as well as hybrid materials composed of organic matter and inorganic nanoparticles. The emerging scientific frontiers in these fields show an exceptional promise of significant new discoveries especially in nanotechnology, which may give rise to a new generation of functional organic nanomaterials. These structures will exhibit controlled morphology and well-defined properties, which enable a broad range of useful applications in electronic or medicine. Our synthetic research are focused on organic liquid crystalline compounds, bioactive materials and graphene derivatives.
