I studied at the University of Warsaw where I earned an MSc in Organic Chemistry (Faculty of Chemistry) and Biotechnology (Faculty of Biology). Then, I
obtained my Ph.D. at the University of Warsaw in 2013 based on work with liquid crystalline nanoparticles. During Ph.D., I spent a period as a visiting
student at MIT in Boston under the supervision of Prof. Timothy M. Swager. In 2016 I joined the group of Prof. Luis M. Liz-Marzán at CIC biomaGUNE, Spain,
as a Postdoctoral fellow. Throughout my scientific career I was actively involved in a wide range of studies related to the synthesis and structure-property
studies of nanomaterials, encompassing nanoparticles, graphene and microorganisms. In 2016, I have established a new organic/soft nanomaterials group focused on
employing organic chemistry tools to prepare functionalized nanomaterials for dynamic nanoarchitectonics and bioapplications.
